This is my first post, so I'm not sure if it's in the right place :confused:.... I am a Master's student using ARCGis Desktop 10.0 to measure distances and other values between two different tracklogs, for my thesis. One is from a handheld GPS device and the other from a collar on the animals.
My problem is that I started my work on ARCGis 9.3 at the research station, so I transformed the old files to be compatible with 10. They were working perfectly on 9.3., but with 10 I find I cannot use the select tool to select certain points from any of the tracks.
I'm quite new to this program and working with geoprocessing in general so my appologies if this is a silly question, but it is CRUCIAL that I fix this ASAP for my thesis... :(

P.S.: I am using ARCGis Desktop 10.0 with the SP4 ESRI update pack, on a Mac computer, through VMWare Fusion (with Windows 7)
