Is there a way to easily use the "Align to Shape" tool on an entire feature at once? That is, I want to be able to immediately select the outline of an entire feature rather than trace the outline manually, as I have a rather large, multi-part feature, which would take ages to trace.
I know that Integrate does something like this, but from what I can tell, there is no way to force one of the feature to never move using this tool. If there were a way to do this, such a method would also work.
Basically, I have one polygon feature representing water, and several other features representing land use. Unfortunately, they were digitized from different sources, so where the land use features meet the water feature, they don't line up accurately. I'm looking for a way to quickly and easily edit the land use features so that edges within a certain tolerance match the water feature as accurately as possible without changing the water feature.
Thanks in advance.
