Distance in Near Table - Unit of Measurement

Hello all,

i've got a problem and i need your help :)

I created a distance matrix with ArcGis via "Creating Near Table" (analysis tools -> proximity). Everthings works and i get my results. But there is one problem: I can not understand the unit of measurement :confused:

First two rows of my exported txt File is this:

OBJECTID;IN_FID;NEAR_FID;NEAR_DIST;NEAR_X;NEAR_Y;NEAR_ANGLE
1;1;45;0.144074636109229;8.478951000000052;48.946846000000050;-27.529924654786427

Now, I would like to have the distance in meters. What do I have to do?
