Using Multiple Data Frames in one Map Layout

Hello everyone. I'm trying to do something that I THINK will require using multiple data frames. I'm not sure the best way to go about it, so I just thought I would ask and maybe someone could get me started in the right direction. I need to create a single graphic that will have a polygon and point shapefile, used multiple times. Essentially the polygon is a geographical area, and the point shapefile will consist of various types of data, and correspond to lat/lon points within the polygon shapefile. What I want is to have three or four data frames, each plotting the polygon shapefile and the point shapefile. However, the point shapefile will display different data in each of the three or four frames. Thus, a final image with three or four polygon shapfiles with different point data plotted in each one. What would be the best way to achieve this? Its sounds as simple as loading in three or four data frames and plotting them. The issue is how will I displace the shapefiles in the layout so that they will not lay on each other, yet keep their lat/lon attributes for the point shapefile? Thanks ahead of time!
