Lately I've been getting an "Initialize Renderer" error popping up periodically. It's always in pairs (in that I click "OK" to clear it and it pops back up, click "OK" a second time and it goes away for a minute or so).
I'm not 100% sure it's related to ArcGIS: it first starts popping up when I have Desktop open, but I have Desktop open most of the day anyway. If I close desktop, the messages keep coming back. It's the "CLSID" bit that makes me think it's GIS related.
It doesn't seem to have any effect on anything, but it's more than a little annoying.
Any ideas? or if it's an ArcGIS issue at all?
