Cannot display gereferenced image after rectification.

Hello,

I'm using ArcGIS 10.1 SP1 and when I rectify a TIFF 8-bit image using a Stretch Type of None and not applying a Gamma Ray Stretch, when I add the georeferenced image to my ArcMap session it renders as black. All my images georeferenced previously with the same settings in 9.3.1 render correctly. Any thoughts as to why I am encountering this problem?
