Just started trying out ArcGIS 10.1SP1 on a Windows Surface Pro tablet. Tyring out ArcMap I am disappointed that the Pen Tool (on the Tablet toolbar) does not work correctly when drawing with the Surface Pro's stylus. Though the marker on the screen properly tracks the tip of the stylus, the resulting ink is misaligned and appears offset significantly to the right and down from the expected location. In fact, the further you are from the top-left of the screen, the further this offset is. There are a number of other alignment and size issues with the menus and toolbars, where clicking on one thing selects another that is offset from the selection point on the screen. Am I doing something wrong or missing a configuration setting? Is ArcGIS 10.1SP1 ready for use on the Surface Pro? Hope this gets fixed soon, as the Surface Pro looks like a great inexpensive solution to getting ArcMap into the field for some simple use cases!
