I have a polygon file that represents wildland fires. I want to convert this file to a raster file that shows how many times an individual pixel burned (many of the fires overlap within the multi-year period of the data) and then snap that raster to the extent and pixel size (30mx30m) of another raster that I have. I thought of trying to query out polygons by each year (26 of them) and then convert them each individually to a raster and then add them up all at the end - Is there a better way? Thanks in advance for any advice.
