Hi,
I am in the processing of converting floating point rasters (DEMs) to polygons.
I've been using the 3D Raster Domain tool, which works well, but creates large files (polygons so far are between 2-8MB for one polygon!) I've tried to changing the environments to disable Z and M values, but this hasn't decreased the size.
I can save it as a line rather than polygon. But - when I then convert this line back to a polygon using Feature to Polygon, the size jumps back up again.
Any ideas? I don't want to convert the rasters to integer, as I want to use a script, and some of the rasters are huge so I don't want to be saving then deleting large files.
TIA, Rosie
