ArcSDE Direct connect from Oracle 11g to Oracle 10g

We have three ArcSDE system mentioned below:

1. System A: ArcSDE 10.1 with Oracle 11g
2. System B: ArcSDE 9.2 with Oracle 10g
3. System C: ArcGIS Server 10.1 with Oracle 11g client

We would like to use the ArcSDE direct connect using Oracle 11g client from System C to System A and System B.

Will this direct connect work?
