Alternative to Cartography>Smooth Polygon tool?

I am working on creating polygon management zones from color infrared imagery. I first convert the raster to points, interpolate using IDW, reclassify, and then convert to polygons. I am getting some jagged look to some of the polygons, and would like to to have a smoother appearance. I noticed that the smooth polygon tool is not available in the basic version, which is what I have. Problem is I can't justify $7k just for this one tool.

Any suggestions on a workaround to getting smoother polygons without upgrading?
