When I try to see the list of a folder contents under the contents tab with ArcCatalog 10.1, it keeps on refreshing and it takes long time before it shows me the final list. When I first click on a folder, it starts to list the contents, then it clears everything, then it starts listing again, then it clears it, then starts listing.... it goes on and on. I think it does this 3 to 10 times or more. So far the only thing I could do is to kill the application. Once I restart ArcCatalog, it seems to list the contents quicker the second time. It is especially very painful for the folder with large number of files. I installed SP 1, but did not fix this issue. With previous versions, it took a while, but it did not keep on refreshing and definitely a lot quicker than 10.1. Thanks for any suggestion/assistance on this issue.
