When at work I have the option of running ArcGIS locally or via Citrix (each have some advantages for us). When I run ArcGIS locally I have no problems accessing the metadata toolbar and making metadata edits. But, when I run ArcGIS via Citrix the metadata tools (Print, Edit, Validate, Export, Import) are not present. Why? One clue is that we have 2 other folks in the office that use ArcGIS and one of them has the exact same problem and the other (my boss) does not have any problems.
Initially we thought that the patch from this link may solve the problem, but it did not ...

Then we asked an additional colleague (who works in a different office & is in charge of maintaining our software) whether or not there are any differences between my permissions and my bosses permissions. He determined, to the best of his ability, that there were no differences.
Any suggestions?
