Choosing the right spatial resolution

Hi everyone,

I need to carry out numerous spatial analysis on an area of 40.500 km2 and I need to decide which spatial resolution is the most suitable for my rasters, taking into account quality of information versus technical aspects.

If I choose a resolution of 100 meters, is there a way to calculate or predict if it would be a problem from a performance point of view (if the data is not too heavy for ArcGIS)?
