Hey all,
I've got a question regarding displaying rasters (assume a raster catalog with hundreds of images). We're only on Basic license level so I know catalogs are dated, it's just what we've got currently. Switching to more advanced raster storage is probably out of the question at this point in time.
Anyway, I've attached a screenshot to help explain my question, which is: how do you account for multiple background values?
Most of our rasters come from the same source (imagery company) and 90% of the time a background value of 255, 255, 255 (white) we can display as no color to allow for overlapping imagery to display properly.
However, I've noticed a bunch of rasters with a background value of 254, 255, 255. Therefore, to the eye it appears white, but obviously isn't captured by my "255, 255, 255" background value.
How can I account for multiple background values such as 254 and 255?
I'm not opposed to pre-processing methods either: such as re-loading the images after modifying the 254 to be 255.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I haven't done a lot of work with rasters since University, so my experience and knowledge are a bit lacking.
Thanks!
