New user to arcgis (9.2) here.
I'm trying to set up a cadastral database and import some points as control points into my cadastral fabric that i've created, but I am so far unsuccessful.
So far my work flow has been in, arc catalog, to "create feature class from XY table" to create a shapefile which seems to work
(the points are visible in the preview window), then I right click on the fabric and "import>control points", browse to the shapefile
of my points and add the appropriate coordinate system. My import log informs me that the process has been unsuccessful:
