Exporting to PDF with Adobe 11 installed

We have a procedure to export maps that we've been using for a while. We just installed Adobe Acrobat 11 on our computers and the fonts we've been embedding are not exporting properly from ArcMap when creating a PDF (Arial is our most common font). Has anyone seen this? Can someone offer some advice on how our procedure should change.

I've included images of what the export that's no longer functioning looks like and what it should look like.

Our process is using:
Windows 7 (Enterprise)
Adobe 11
ArcGIS 10.1
