I am trying to visually check a routed layer to make sure all my lines are accounted for with points and that the points are correct. To do this I have created an event table and displayed route events as lines. When I change the symbology to view the layer over the original route featureclass the route layer does not draw/render/appear completely. The rest can be found in the table, both of the Features located along routes and in the table of the created layer.
If I scroll in, the layer will sometimes draw. This occurs at different, seemingly random scales, and does not always work.
When I export the layer (to a .lyr), or the data(to a .shp) only the drawn parts export.
The visual scale range is off (show at all scales).
I have tried the data in not only a new .mxd, but also on a different machine using an older version of Arcmap (10.0, not 10.1).
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Edit: Initially there were 29000+ points and lines, each line will have a point. I have since divided the dataset into 4 parts, the one I am currently working on has about 10000.
