Changing the icon view in the Recent folder for the getting started window

I am trying to change the icon view in the Recent folder of the 'Getting Started' window when opening ArcMap10. The default is thumbnails view and I would like to change it to Large Icons for the default.

I found them in the registry, but I cannot change view styles.
