I have read through various posts and have not succeeded in finding a solution to my issue. I am trying to select by attributes to remove large amounts of data based on a word contained inside of the full names. i.e. in field "NAME" I have "Grand Central Train Station" and another entry has "Newark Bus Station" and so on and I want to select all entries containing "Train". I have tried variations of where "NAME" LIKE ' * Train ' and numerous others. Can anyone advise me on how to do this effectively? It seems like an extremely simple command that is trivial in excel and I'm worried my syntax is slightly off in Arc.
