I am trying to create a map of EU countries in the projection shown here: http://www.ec-gis.org/sdi/publist/pd...tal2003eur.pdf on page 55. When I select the Albers Conical Equal Area projection and Modify it to the settings shown it still looks different. The scandinavian countries in particular look wider and shorter. My guess is the 'Angular Deformation' element that I do not understand. Can someone explain in simple terms exactly what this is? Is there a way to do 'Angular Deformation' in ArcMap?
