I can't use the Error Inspector with a Map Topology

I am working with a geodatabase topology, but I only want to view errors that are relevant to a particular definition query. I can't figure out any way to cycle through the errors without seeing everything from the dataset. Is there some reason the Error Inspector couldn't work with a Map Topology?

Are there are any other solutions that would accommodate my preferred workflow?
