I have recently upgraded from ArcDesktop 10.0 to 10.1 and am now every time I try to start ArcMap it crashes on load. I have thoroughly searched the web and this forum and have tried every "solution" offered.
I have installed latest service pack, deleted folders and registry entries. Changed my default printer. Made sure MSXML 4 sp3 was installed. I have no extensions, no Data Interoperability extension.
When I do delete \My Documents\ArcGIS\ and \Application Data\ESRI\ folders, ArcMap does load. But when I close and start again in starts crashing again every time. I also noticed that when it has loaded that first time. Clicking the ArcCatalog side bar opens the side bar just fine. But when I click the X to close it, ArcMap crashes.
I have ran the requirements test located here and everything passed.

I am running Windows XP Prof. Service Pack 3, 32bit. 4 gigs ram.
Not too sure what else to do. Any help anyone can offer is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Eric
