Import KML to Shapefile *while retaining symbology*

I need to import a KML into ArcGIS 9.31 while retaining the KMLs colors. ex. green squares, blues squares, red squares.

I have Xtools pro. Which will allow me to export a shapefile to kml while retaining its symbology but not vice-versa.

Is this possible?
