This issue is driving me crazy. I have a layer of points. I want the symbol size to be graduated based on the number in column A, and I want the colour ramp to be based on the number in column B. I have searched around and found quite a few posts to this, but nothing that provides a solution.
if i follow instructions in this post (http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/322...ing-two-fields) my colour ramp is graduated on the same value range as the symbol size. Kinda pointless.
This page talks about primary and secondary symbology. http://support.esri.com/en/knowledge...s/detail/22632 I can't figure out how to set primary and secondary symbology so that the symbol size and the colour ramp are based on different attributes and have different value ranges. Other than that, this page talks about what CAN be done, not HOW it can be done.
I don't believe that what I am trying to do is impossible. Anyone know how to do it?
