ArcGis 10.1 for Desktop and SQL Server 2008 Standard

Hi there,

We'd like to setup a database server to work with ArcGIS 10.1 for Desktop according to the manual:

The manual refers to SQL Server Express but we would like to install the database on a SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard instance.
When I try to run the setup using the option Enable geodatabase storage on SQL Express it just hangs.

Is it possible to setup a ArcGIS 10.1 for Desktop database on a SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard instance?
