Just installed ArcGIS 10.0 a month or so ago, no problems up until this week where this behaviour started.
In ArcMap, whenever I press a keyboard key, the map will start panning in a random direction uncontrollably. It doesn't matter if it's an existing mxd or a newly created map, and happens with every keyboard key except the function keys (including space, shift, ctrl, caps lock, etc.) It pans a little bit at a time so it refreshes between each increment (kind of like it would if you held an arrow key down). The panning also starts when I hold down my mouse wheel. ArcMap has stopped zooming on turning the mouse wheel as well, but still refreshed the map. The direction the panning occurs in is different every time I open ArcMap.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour before and have any idea how to make it stop? (Tried reboot, and reset to default settings in advanced options, no luck in either case.)
