Cursor disappears when georeferencing

Hi,

we're running ArcMAP 10.1 SP1. When adding control points while georeferencing, the cursor is only visible when moving it around. When I stop moving the mouse, the cursor becomes invisible.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I found a few references in the old forum, but none of them were of any help, and they pertained to old versions of ArcMAP.
