Error in projecting raster data

I am recieving the following error when trying to project a raster dataset in ArcGIS 10.

"ERROR 999999: Error executing function.
The table name is invalid.
No spatial reference exists.
The table was not found. [A2011183.1620.051.2011184175]
Cannot load the data file Dataset_canada/SK83-98 for the geographic transformation NAD_1983_To_WGS_1984_7.
Failed to execute (ProjectRaster)."

Has anyone else come across this error before? I am trying to determine if this is likely a problem with the data or something inside of ArcGIS as it says it cannot find the "table" as well as cannot load the file for the transformation (although I realize that could be in response to table issue).
