Hi all,
I'm writing a technical report and I want to cite Esri Help, but I'm not sure how to do so. I have multiple points where I need to reference Esri Help to explain my reasoning and workflow process. I'm thinking of simply finishing my sentence or quote with: (Esri, ArcGIS v10 Help), and then providing the link to the specific page in the "references" section of the report. It just seems incomplete to me, but there are no authors or dates associated with the Help section. And what about images/diagrams from Esri Help?
Also, does anyone have suggestions on how to cite the basemap data available to stream in in ArcGIS 10? I used it as the background on a couple of maps in my report.
Thanks,
-Steve
