Has anyone else noticed the following behavior in ArcMap 10.1.1.
I go to edit a layer. I select the layer to edit. This being is contained on a Geodatabase accessed through ArcSDE.
Before it loads I clicked on the table a few times. Eventually a warning screen should appear explaining that certain layers cannot be be edited. However because I have clicked on the table, which was not accessible as it is about to load a warning screen, the warning screen does not display.
Apart from not getting the screen to display, I can't close ir and nor can I do anything else because Windows wants me to interact with a screen which ArcMap is not showing.
Eventually after pressing escape a few times I got the screen to display but pressing it once made no difference. Nor did hiding all windows and programs in XP and unhidding them.
Kind regards
Tim
