Group Layer to KML issue

Hi guys,

I'm using ArcGIS Basic 10.1 sp1.

I have a group layer, say GROUP1. within this group are 3 subgroups of layers, Group1a, 1b and 1c.

When I convert GROUP1 to KML and view it in Google Earth, the kml name place name is GROUP1 and has subfolder GROUP1 again and within it are my subgroup folder 1a, 1b and 1c. What I want to clear up is why GROUP1 name is repeated and if it can be avoided. My desired output would be that the output.kmz when opened in Google Earth would be like,

Unique Place Name
- GROUP1
- GROUP1a
- GROUP1b
- GROUP1c
