ArcCatalog 10.1 ISO metada for Esri standard fields, OBJECTID, SHAPE, etc

ArcGIS has partially populated ISO metadata records but left some required elements empty. This is true for OBJECTID and SHAPE fields, probably others. It seems to me that Esri should have provided information for the required elements automatically. Left to do this on my own I'm struggling to find the correct information. I did find type and width for ObjectID, along with a decent technical description, but haven't yet come across similar info for Shape or other standard fields. I could wing it but prefer to enter the correct information, rather than allowable but meaningless prose.

Does anyone know of a resource that has ISO compliant metadata for the standard Esri/ArcGIS geodatabase feature class fields?
