Summary table field order

When executing a summary of a table, and retaining many fields within that table, can you customize the order at which the fields will come out in the summary table?

For some reason when I try to summarize a field in my attribute table, the order of the selectable fields does not show up as it does in my attribute table, so some of the information in the resulting summary table looks funky because it relates to a field that I placed it near in the original attribute table, but is out of place now in the summary table.
