After searching Google for hours I would have thought there was some tool or script to enable a user in ArcMap to draw a polygon based on a specified area? Surely this has been asked before?
All we want to do is constrain a polygon to a specific size while altering the out edge boundaries.
Annoyingly on the sketch function of the construction tools it provides an 'on the fly' area calculation (bottom right) for rectangles, circles and ovals BUT not on the polygon draw tool???!!! How hard can it be?
Can anyone put an end to this frustration without some hideous mathematical equation?
