I am working with a personal gdb for my sewer network that was created by an outside entity some time ago. Everything seems normal with the features in the gdb except for the ssGravityMains which display at a much different extent. I must admit I should have dealt with this issue long ago, but I really didn't notice it with the "adjust on the fly" aspect of ArcGIS. I knew I had an issue, but wasn't quite sure what it was.
I am attaching a Word doc that shows how two of the feature sets display. You will note that the ssManholes display in a manner you would expect when in preview (as do all of the other features in the gdb), but the ssGravityMains do not. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this issue? It was suggested that I delete the spatial index an recreate it, but that cannot be done with a personal gdb so I am looking for other possible solutions. I am not totally opposed to converting to a filegdb, but I am not quite ready to do so and would like to wait.
I have compared all of the feature properties and nothing seems to be amiss in that realm. Any thoughts would be a help.
I would also like to know what fixing this odd issue might do to my data. I will definitely keep a backup, but would like to learn about a fix since bad data is not good data.
