Annotations created from a joined table crashes ArcMap

I am currently useing 10.2.2, but also had this problem with 10.2.1. When I create a annotation feature class from a feature class with a join, and they try to create/follow this feature, ArcMap will just shut down. So if I want to edit annotations I have to create the annotation feature class then remove the join from the feature class that the annotations where created from, then I can edit the annotation layer without ArcMap crashing.

Also I just tested annotations from created from a non joined table. When I use the Follow Feature construction tool. Arcmap crashes as well.

Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me? Is it a known bug?
