Good Morning,
We have one user who has ArcMap installed locally on their machine. When they try to open a map ArcMap will hang indefinitely. Through troubleshooting we figured out that when ArcMap opens a map it causes spoolsv.exe to hang (and use up an abnormal amount of memory). Killing the spoolsv.exe task then allows ArcMap to open the map properly. Is anyone else out there having this issue? I know I have heard of similar issues with AutoCad, but not sure if they'd be related. The user is on a fully updated Windows 7 machine running the latest version of ArcGis for Desktop.
Thanks,
Art
