Adding xy-locations form an Excel-spreadsheet to my map

Hello everybody,

I am new to ArcGIS and currently trying desperately to display xy-data from a xls-spreadsheet on my map. No matter what I do, even if I use sample xls-files from other users, I always end up with a single dot at the exact same place somewhere in the Gulf of Guinea. (My locations are in Germany)

This is what I do:
1) I put my coordinates in an Excel spreadsheet. Here is a small sample file https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...ordinates.xlsx
2) I import the spreadsheet into my Geodatabase. Here is a screenshot of my table in ArcGis https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6601056/table.jpg
3) I run "display xy-data" and use WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere as coordinate-system https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...playxydata.jpg
