Issues with Select by Location

Hello,

I am having issues with select by location. I am trying to select all the points of a layer that fall within my province polygons. It partially worked. However, no points were selected in British Columbia and an island in the NWT. Both layers are in the same projection. I also checked the province shapefile attribute table and everything seems to be in order. I have also tried many selection methods (within, completely within, intersecting, with centroids within, etc.)
