Drop Down Menu Miss Aligned

Hi,

I'm running ARCGIS 10.1 desktop. For some reason, my menus and some other features in ARCMAP are not aligning properly. Below is a screen shot of the type of problem I am having with the software:

Here's another example of the error with the menu bar. This is the appearance that I get when I go into full screen mode:

Other distortions also occur, as seen with this html popup tool miss projection and shadow error.
