Hi there,
I recently had an issue where the buffer tool would not calculate buffers around vertexes that were too short. The reason was that the data had a very large extent, and this again influenced the XY-tolerance of the project. Some vertices of my line data was therefore shorter than the tolerance and were therefore skipped by the buffer calculation.
How do you calculate this XY-tolerance if the extent of the data is very large? It would be very useful to be able to predict when these kinds of errors occur.
Any input would be very helpful.
