how to clip raster feature using vector shape file with changing raster attributes

Hey

I want to clip a raster polygon with changes in attribute table .....i 've used clip tool using data management tools, but clipped feature attributes were not changing so i wud like to clip a raster using a village polygon so can you suggest any method please....!
