ADDRESS MARKERS

Hello,

I am using ArcMAP 10.1

I need to illustrate a map using large red circles, like a marker point. I know how to draw basic shapes and apply a basemap. However, I would like to snap the center of the circles to a specific street address. Is this possible using ArcMAP 10.1 and if so, how is this done for a beginner approach?
