Need to Add Feature Class to map document using ArcPY

I have a script that automatically creates a feature class in a file geodatabase from a table. I want to find Arcpy syntax that will automatically add the feature class to an existing mxd. AddLayer or Insert layer do not appear to support feature classes, maybe I'm wrong? Anyone have any input or have done this in the past?
