I often copy and paste graphics from one ArcMap project to another in Layout View. The graphics usually include text, lines, symbols and other items. In the past, I would set both projects to each occupy the entire area of one of the identical dual monitors, and I'd make sure both Layout Views were at the same "Zoom to Percent", espcially if one was horizontal and the other vertical. I'd group the grpahics, then copy and paste into the other project, and the pasted result would be identical to the original. This worked through all previous versions of ArcMap (and even as far back as ArcView 3 among layouts in the same project).
Since 10.1 came out, the graphics have been pasting as a jumbled mess that I have to spend time on cleaning up. (See attachments.) It doesn't matter if they're grouped or not, or what the zoom level is.
Why is this happening? Is there a workaround short of saving the graphic as an image and inserting it into the other project? Is Esri going to address this?
Thanks.
