Help need with Raster Calculator using HDF4 dataset

Hi,

I am trying to use HDF dataset to calculate NDVI using Raster Calculator by NIR and Red Bands by using the formula: ("band_4"-"band_3")/("band_4"+"band_3") where band_4 and band_3 are the respective names of the raster.
I am getting error 000539 and error 000732.
Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
