Hi,
I am possibly going about this all the wrong way but here goes. I have been asked to create a buffer around some Settlements and also Business land. The features are in 2 separate FC’s.
I went about this by creating a new Shape file which contained both FC’s then used the Buffer Wizard to generate a new Shape with the buffer.
I wondered if there is a way to add more than one FC or Shape file in the Wizard (have also tried Toolbox > Analysis Tools > Proximity > Buffer). This way I don’t have to go about merging datasets.
I’m using ArcEditor 9.3.1 SP2
Thanks in advance :)
Chris .
