Hello All!
I'm not sure if this is possible, either out of the box or through some programming, but I wanted to ask: is it possible to add layers/feature classes from a selection in another layer?
I have a grid that serves as a breakdown for a given area. The TILE field corresponds with a LIDAR raster tile. I was hoping to do some terrain analysis using said LIDAR, but the area of consideration involves 55 tiles. I could add them one at a time, but since this isn't a priority project, I was hoping to have a little bit of fun with it. Would there be a way to add a feature class/layer/raster from a grid selection? I'm aware of, and have done this with VBA, but, that was a while ago and I no longer am able to utilize VBA. Is it possible with a Python script? Or is there a tool or add-in available that can accomplish this for me?
Anyway, thank you for you time and consideration.
Kevin
