Are there tools for 10.2 to get the centerline, average width and azimuth of polygons

Hi,

I have a question regarding a couple of tools I need for a project I'm working on at my university. I'm doing a beach inventory, digitizing them using a polygon feature class and adding data. Are there tools in ArcMap 10.2 to get the centerline, average width and azimuth of polygons? So far I've only been able to get the area, and length of the line that makes the polygons, but not the centerline (which would give me a rough estimate of their length.
